Key Productions owner Mike Overstreet and Production Assistant Teresa Richey spent three long days on location for the Season 5, Day 10 finale of Relative Race. This years race, with Episode 1 starting in St. Louis and Episode 10, where all the crews and the surviving contestant teams came together from around the country to meet in the desert near Tucson, was the best season yet according to the Producers. Mike was the Production Sound Mixer for this episode mixing up to 8 wireless microphones and a boom mic, recording isolated feeds from each for later post production, and transmitting the mixed signal to 6 of the 13 cameras used on this production as well as sending an additional isolated feed from the hosts microphone to cameras dedicated to him. A LOT of wireless signals moving back and forth! He was also one of two drone pilots providing B roll recreations of events with the host and contestants while camera and grip crews moved to the next locations.
