One of our two Emmy Awards is for Aerial Cinematography.
As the demand for commercial drone video continues to rise, and the FAA legal enforcement grows, it is more important than ever for you to ensure that your commercial drone operator is not only good….but meets the federally mandated legal requirements.
WE ARE…and…WE DO!
We are FAA 333 Exempt and fully compliant with FAA Parts 61 and 107 to perform Commercial Drone Operations.
The first United States UAV Remote Pilot certificates were issued in August 2016 at which time we completed the complex task of obtaining our Part 107 certification for Commercial Drone Operations. FAA rules require recurrent testing every 24 months to maintain that certification which is exactly the same requirement that applies to our Part 61 certification to fly full size aircraft. We completed this part 107 recurrent testing in August of 2018 and again in August of 2020 and our FAA Certification for Commercial Drone Operations is good through August of 2022.
Yes, ONE of our two Emmy Awards really IS for aerial video…..however…..that was “back in the day” and was shot from a helicopter with our cameraman using a heavy Tyler Mount that extended all the way back into the aircraft to try to stabilize the picture while he was partially outside controlling the camera. TODAY, new advances in technology have brought fully stabilized HD and 4K aerial images at prices that are a fraction of what it cost for the poor analog video we were all used to “back in the day” and we do it from the safety of the ground!
